Anna Wintour hardly ever speaks to push, so when we caught wind of a new interview she did with CNN, you can guess we devoured each term. None other than Christiane Amanpour interviewed the Vogue editor in main, who is on the advertising tour for the future Met Gala. She discussed a slew of distinct subjects, which includes sustainability, variety, politics, and how social media has improved trend. Oh, and she also confirmed that, no, she has no plans of ever having off her signature sun shades, which she describes are “unbelievably helpful since you prevent people today knowing what you might be imagining about.”
What caught our eye, in specific, was Wintour’s discussion of criticism. “Sometimes there has been a selected degree of own criticism directed at me that, possibly, might not have been [used against] a person in a identical placement,” she informed CNN. So what’s her trick to surviving those people unwanted views? “I’m very concentrated,” she explained. “So I, maybe since of my clarity and my focus, have not enable it in.” We can not all be as decisive as Wintour, but it can be certainly a sensible recommendation to place your blinders on and concentrate on what you are executing with laser aim to protect against letting criticism to get to you. Many thanks for the reminder, Anna.
