Can you believe Nicole Kidman is in her 50s? Me neither. Ok, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s talk about her latest outfit. We’re used to seeing Kidman dressed up in couture on the red carpet or immersed in one of her film (or HBO…) roles, but just a reminder that her casual style is great—and actually accessible—too. Over the weekend, Kidman attended a screening for Bombshell in New York, wearing a classic outfit made up entirely of basics (Celine basics, but still) that’s so easy to recreate and should be noted by her fellow 50-somethings (and by everyone else, for that matter).
Kidman stepped out in what’s pretty much the perfect fall jeans outfit if you want to look chic without really trying: a grey crewneck sweater layered over a white buttondown, skinny jeans, and square-toe ankle boots (trend alert!), completed with a top-handle satchel bag.
